A loop of the country brought the group from Dublin to Belfast and on to Derry before they turned South again to Galway, Bantry and Cobh ahead of returning through Waterford to their finale in Dun Laoghaire and Dublin. With a variety of talents on offer from clients and Cruise Ireland members alike, the group was without a doubt entertained throughout. With reps from a number of cruise lines competing in their own Guinness drinking competition and Belfast’s very own Ruth entertaining the troops with her unrivalled rapping skills, the actual itinerary at times seemed surplus to requirements.
One stop on the itinerary however was a highlight for one client in particular. Titanic Distillers not only dazzled with their amazing tipples and their fascinating venue, it was indeed their Retail and Events Manager, Matthew that held the attention for one smitten guest. The dreams were dreamt and the wedding was planned, all unbeknownst to Matthew, however the fairytale came to an end once the magic of the fam trip was over.

This amazing tour of Ireland was brought to a close in Dublin where Teelings Distillery hosted a wonderful evening showcasing the famous Irish Welcome. The evening began with tourism representatives from all over the country each presenting their own wonderful attraction to the eager crowd. This was followed by a tour of this relatively new distillery with a long and fascinating story steeped in the city’s whiskey making past. The evening at Teelings was rounded off with a delicious meal and a treat of traditional Irish entertainment. Not content however to let the hired entertainers do the hard work, Cruise Ireland’s Lynn, David, Brian, Michael, Conor and Louise all contributed enthusiastically to the delight of everyone present.
In spite of the bomb scare at Dublin Airport the following morning all guests made it back safely to their respective US cities with a tired but happy sense of Irish pride and culture.
