Exploring Beyond the Brand

2024 marked Excursions Ireland’s 20th year in operation and the company’s very own Lauren Naughton designed the company logo used to mark that momentous year. As 2024 neared to a close, what initially began as a simple thought for a new permanent logo turned into an exciting plan for an entire rebrand.

Twenty years is a long time with the same logo, the same cheesy tagline and the box ticking attitude the company had towards the official “shopfront” that was put out there and the tiredness of these things was made all the more evident by the bold logo Lauren created for the anniversary. It was clear that the
company had evolved and grown and the logo, the brand should reflect that the team is a young, vibrant, fun and creative group of people who deem friendship and flare to be as important as professionalism and service. And so the rebrand commenced and everyone was encouraged to “explore beyond the shore”.
Working with Kaizen Creative Agency in Belfast it was immediately clear that Excursions Ireland were in the hands of a team similar to their own. A team of fun personalities who know how to deliver a high end service all the while creating a natural rapport between client and supplier.

From the presentation of 3 amazing design ideas through to selection and ultimately the decision to also redesign the website, Kaizen were thorough, they took the time to understand the industry, the team, the nuances of Niamh and the dynamic and image that the brand and website should portray and ultimately they captured the fun, the flare, the personality and professionalism of Excursions Ireland perfectly.
